Thread Recommendations: Watermelon, Pumpkin, and Wildflower Seed Packets

I definitely do not have a green thumb, but absolutely wish I did! I love the idea of having beautiful gardens and a beautiful yard, but am not always great on my execution! So, what better way to fantasize about these beautiful garden dreams than designing and stitching one! Every garden starts with seeds so I decided that was the perfect place to start than with our three seed packet canvases- watermelon, pumpkin, and wildflower! The colors on these three canvases are just as stunning as a garden in spring! Everything I'm stitching mine in are below for your enjoyment!

For all the seed packets, I knew it was allllll about the color! To that end, I went with essentials so that you had a line that was both affordable and full of beautiful colors! I purchased all of my essentials cards for these canvases at the Penny Linn Flagship store in Rowayton, CT, and at The Pine Needle in Manchester, VT, but you can also find them online at KC Needlepoint (with free shipping!).

Watermelon Seed Packet:

Pinks dominate this pretty canvas! I selected three that I felt like captured the juiciness of a ripe summer watermelon! For the black, you only need a strand or two for the seeds, so feel free to use another brand you have on hand to save a little!

Pumpkin Seed Packet:

For all my fall lovers, this one is for you! I'm actually quite allergic to pumpkin- so stitching one lets me enjoy them from afar! These beautiful orangey-coral tones are everything! And a little splash of pink for my fellow pink girlies!

Wildflower Seed Packet:

My favorite because I just love all the blues! Dusty blue was the color of our wedding and no blue is too much blue! I think you'll love these three shades together splashed with a little green and cream!
I hope you enjoy stitching your seed packets! They were beyond fun to design and I love seeing you guys love them and share about them! Since you may have gotten all three, I also made a shopping list for you to get threads for all three:
Happy Stitching!
