Our Studio

Sails & Spools Studio is located in the heart of historic downtown Suffield, CT. While our studio is small & truly a working studio and not a store, we are always happy to welcome fellow stitchers who want to stop by for a visit! While we can not accommodate drop in visitors, we do offer the following ways to visit our studio in person: 

• By Appointment: Our availability changes seasonally, but we love visitors and can often accommodate requests to visit the studio by appointment. Simply email us at SailsandSpools@gmail.com to request a visit! Typically, we can have you stop by most weekday afternoons, some Saturdays, and occasional evenings. 
• Order Online & Pick-Up in Studio: If you place an online order and would prefer to pick it up instead of have it shipped, please email us immediately after placing the order. We will refund your shipping and coordinate a time for you to stop in to pick it up! Additionally, if you email us before placing an order, we can provide you with a promo code that gives you free shipping.
• Stitch Nights: We host stitch nights in the studio typically every other Wednesday from 5:30-7:00pm. A seat must be reserved ahead of time simply because we a limited number of seats. You can find upcoming stitch nights on our classes/events page.
• Finishing Classes: Throughout the year we offer finishing classes that allow you to take your stitched piece and transform it into a finished, usable piece. You can find any upcoming finishing classes on our classes/events page.
• Seasonal Shopping Events: We love an event! From time to time, we transform our studio from bustling studio to a little boutique and offer reservation only shopping days! Treats and surprises are always part of the experience! You can find any upcoming seasonal events on our classes/events page.
