Thread Recommendations: Here for the Scoop
Share
Here for the Scoop is a favorite canvas of mine. I love the stripes, the colors, the ice cream, and the little play on words! When it comes to a fun summer stitch... this is the canvas! I'm stitching this one as we speak with plans of turning it into a zipper clutch, but until then, I figured I'd share with you my thread recommendations for this sunny stitch!

I decided silk was the way to go for this one- I love the subtle sheen silk adds and vineyard silk is simply a dream to stitch with. There's quite a few colors so, instead of full skeins of vineyard silk, I used the "on the go" cards for most of the colors (the background stripes will need full skeins) to save a bit! If your LNS doesn't stock the carded versions, the skeins will be just fine and leave with you extra thread for your next stitch! I purchased all of my fiber from Penny Linn in Rowayton, CT.
In addition to fiber, I also snagged coordinating beads because I felt like those ice cream scoops demanded it! I used sundance beads for this canvas in size 14, but you should totally feel free to go any which way with beads for this one! I think a colorful bead mix could be so cute for this one, or even bugle beads! Have fun with it!
Here's all my thread and bead recs for this canvas, including a handy shopping list! Happy stitching!
I hope you have as much fun stitching this canvas as I am! Feel free to reach out with any questions at all- we're so happy to help!
Happy Stitching & Sailing,
Paige
